LOL yeah. You're right with regard to the animation.

Still... case in point is that I'm not the only one who knows that the logo (either the company's one, or the USB trident) should go face up. I don't know what should be done if BOTH are on there, on different sides of the cable...

Easy. Once you figure out the orientation, put a drop of nail polish on the top and you'll always know which way is up.

Or you could do what I do. Look at the plug and the hole to make sure you have the cable going the right way. Black on black is not easy to see in a dark room.

Occasionally yes, but it was normally holding it up in the air, which was awkward to say the least.

I'm happy now with my kindles. Transferring books via the cloud is so much easier than via USB. Now all my fan fic is on my kobo I won't have anything else to add to it. I had two years use out of it so now it's in retirement.

Yes, I always do this too because I can never remember which device is which way. Even two tablets that are both Dells are opposite. Happy my phone is USB-C so it doesn't matter. Thankfully that cord is white while the rest are black so I don't try to use the wrong type.

If you have a dodgy cable, your phone could be damaged. That's the advantage of USB-C.

Turkish menu titles have mostly changed into English with this firmware. Is there anyone else who experienced that?

I don't speak Turkish, but I just set the Aura ONE to Turkish and tapped around a bit. I have no idea if any of it is correct, but I didn't see any English.

If it is a problem, I would suggest restarting the device, and then changing to another language and then back to Turkish. Hopefully with those actions, it will fix itself.

I know they are. I think it's a mistake. I've read of too many people having their equipment damaged with dodgy cables. This is why I don't want USB-C. It's not safe.

yes exactly same problem

I have two devices ,aura one and kobo glo hd

both have problems regarding Turkish language which is replaced by English in most areas.

This happened after update to latest firmware,I tried to factory reset and then update but didnt work.

Waving here to make aware developers about the Turkish language bug of latest firmware

Just as a dodgy lightning cable can damage your equipment. Using dodgy cables is not safe, it's not an inherent problem with the Lightning/USB-C or any other standard.
