Word Wise not working properly?
So far I've read a few kindle ebooks using this feature without any issues. But on last one I'm reading now it is somehow "broken". It shows explanations for totally different words. For example above the word "his" it shows explanation for the word "stimulus".
Any idea what could have happened? Or could it be just amazons mistake on this particular book? |

It is probably something wrong with the data delivered by Amazon for that particular book. Have you tried removing the book from the Kindle and then downloading it again?
Or it might have been caused by something you did with that book. Word Wise doesn't use the actual words you see on the screen. It works by downloading a separate database file that relates offsets within the book content to entries in the main dictionary. If you have modified the book in some way, for example by editing it with calibre, then the offsets in that database will no longer match up with the contents of the book shown on the screen. |

Thank you for replies. It was a problem only with this book with others it was working alright. I've re-downloaded it again and now everything is fine. And I haven't done any modification to the book before ?
