Getting ready to put anti slide pads on the throw rugs so mom won't trip over them when she comes home.

I got two different types. One was an open weave material that didn't hold well even to the rugs. The other was a strip with good adhesive to it. Those rugs aren't going to be sliding all over the place now. Covered most of the cable wire (for my Cable T.V. and Internet) as well so she can't catch her foot on it either.

You sound better than you did last week. Good luck. Hey does this mean your fiancee can visit too?

Monroe Manor is a good facility but there is a problem with a lack of privacy. I mean if you visit outside of the patient's room then all the other residents, nurses, cna's etc. are around and if you visit in the patient's room you still have nurses and cna's stopping in fairly often for meds etc. And I'm sure that Lisa likes to get out when she can. Seeing the same walls etc. every day can get dull I'm sure. |

Looking for ideas for a decal for my laptop. I want to make my own, but I'm not sure what I want yet. So I'm looking at what's commercially available and at websites that sell .svg files (the format my plotter uses).

Recovering. Got back on my erg for the first time in nearly 2 years this morning. Rowed a mediocre 5325 meters in 30 minutes. I'm thinking about adding this back into my daily routine (in addition to the 4am workout my wife and I do).
We shall see. Any other indoor or outdoor rowers here? |

I was going to go for a late afternoon swim, but I decided to open a bottle of wine instead.
(I did go for a swim earlier today.)

I've just ordered a fresh fruit pie for Friday.
Earlier today I found a new project to do. I was bored and when I'm bored I like to go up to the attic, part of which was used as storage for the store in my great grandfather's and grandfather's time. There are still some really cool glass lampshades and lamp fittings if you're willing to dig around a bit. Every once in a while I find some things that go well together, clean them up, restore them where necessary and put them together. Today, though, I found an old Singer sewing table, which I've fallen in love with. It's still got the pedal and wheel. I want to make a side table out of it. I will need to get the nearly fossilized candle wax off it and have a glass top made to size (it's got the lowered platform in the middle for the sewing machine). I don't want to make it look too nice, I want it to look it's age. First I have to get in down a narrow and low staircase and set it up in the big front room and clean it up. After that I know what needs to be done. |

Hubby just called he's on his way home from work. It seems he started having an aura an hour ago which is a sign of a migraine.
Hubby's migraines are horrible it usually means vomiting, clamminess and alot of sleeping it off. He doesn't get these but once or twice a year. Before anyone asks yes I blame the Eclipse for it. Sent from my XT1528 |
