One of the better books recently: 8/10.

It is science fiction. It is about a society that survived milleniums. Highly recommended.
This looks right up my alley.
Where can I get a copy?
I can't seem to find an ebook version..
(I've got a sony 505)

Thanks

It was either free or $1 at Sony.

It's free, I picked it up last night (after you mentioned it the other day).

I finished Yellow Blue Tibia by the endlessly inventive Adam Roberts. Next up on the conveyor belt is Let the Right One in by John Ajvide Lindqvist.

'Nation' was fab.
It's a little bit odd reading non-Discworld Pratchett (just coz it's been so long and so much that has been and I kept sort of expecting someone familiar to pop up).
As usual, there were probably many, many references and jokes that I didn't get but I'm already looking forward to the day I'll read it again and (hopefully) get some of the bits I missed the first time.

I'm reading Lancelot by Lee Whitney. It was either free or very inexpensive from Sony. I got it with a bunch of others and am too lazy to look it up.

Spoiler:
OK, this thing is some good erotica, so consider yourselves warned. It begins at Arthur's final battle with Modred. This is looking like a story of what became of Lancelot afterward.

Not one for the kiddies.

I like DeMille, but my co-worker and friend LOVES his writing. I gave her my EBW1150 when I got the Sony, and she was surprised to find a few DeMille titles that were new to her. I really enjoyed "In Country."

Reading: I Am Legend by Richard Matheson (for the umpteenth time). 50,000 words of sheer brilliance. Stephen King should take note, you don't need a book as big as a table to tell a story.

Saw a reference earlier to a zombie version of Pride & Prejudice (sorry, no time to trail back and do proper linkies) but whoever it was (Ricky?) might be interested in this

I finished David Carr's "Night of the Gun" over the weekend; it was a fiercely honest look at addiction. Now my ms is back from the publisher with lots of suggestions, so no more reading for a while (though I'm feverishly knitting with this new chunky bamboo yarn I found; I love it).

Just finished reading Brisingr by Christopher Paolini. Very good book. Specially if you are into the series.

Also just finished reading Hard Time by Charles Dickens. That was good too. But not one of my favorites.

Started Undone by Rachel Caine. I loved her Weather Warden series... I feel this will be among my new favorites.
