Hi I tried to use your extension and then the polish book (with update cover checked) but I don't really see a difference in the final result (i.e. when I display the cover on the Aura One).
So I was wondering if this second step (polish book) is still necessary?

If you see a difference between your original cover, and the newly generated one from prettify cover, you might want to use polish book to update the epubs cover, too. Make sure you have set the right resolution in prettify cover.

Thanks for reporting. I can't reproduce the error on my system. I'll send you a private message with a link - for testing the new version, which could fix that issue you're describing.

I just released v0.9.11 - which should fix that issue. Please report in case you still get the same error.

I've installed Gimp and both plugins (Resynthesizer and NG Filter) but the option "Content-aware background" is not available for selection only the other four.

I'm using Win 10 and latest stable Calibre.

Edit: Fixed by installing GIMP at the default install location (C:\Program Files\GIMP 2) as suggested by m1d1.

Hi,

currently "Prettify Cover" is checking for GIMP at the default install location (C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\bin\). If it can't be found there, it assumes you don't have GIMP installed and GIMP related features are not visible. Can you post your path to GIMP?

Updated the install instructions for latest GIMP 2.10 and resynthesizer plug-in with windows. I'll update the linux install instructions, if neccessary, as soon as GIMP 2.10 arrives in my distribution.

The Prettify Cover plugin (version 0.9.12) no longer works with Calibre version 4.

Is anyone aware of a fix?
