The book is not lousy. The book just didn't work for you when you read approximately 66 out of 684 pages (going off my print copy). I've had books that don't work particularly well for me, doesn't make them lousy.

I think they have shortened the download period to 3 days (2/13-2/15/18), I may be wrong but I thought the old download period was a week. So download first, ask questions later.

It's been a while since I got a notice of a free book from them. I was glad I caught it. I saw that Sony is producing Wheel of Time to be a TV series. No indication of who is going to broadcast it yet.
