All books show in all Italics

I'm a noob. I have 3 epub books. When I try to read them in Calibre, the entire book is in italics. One of the books is just the Getting Started book that comes with Calibre. I tried switching to a different font (from Verdana to Arial) but no luck.

I'd sure appreciate any help!

Solved for me. Never hearing back (until now) about Calibre, I switched over to the Icecream Ebook Reader.

It worked so well, I even upgraded to their Pro version (to get additional features).

One thing to do with Calibre is to run the viewer and go into the preferences and change the default font. Maybe that's the problem.
