I have to side with Jon here. "in the bathroom" is a major omission.

Another omission is my second most favorite reading place "at the local tavern", where I am constantly asked "Is that a Kindle?" (it is almost always the Sony I am using at the time.)

I would also ask for the option "In the bathroom of the local tavern", but...

My favorite place to read is in the tub. Dropping a book in the tub would suck, but dropping my Kindle in the tub would be disasterous. Nevertheless, reading in the tub is just too enjoyable so I take the risk. It looks like a few other people voted Tub, so it appears I'm not alone (then again, maybe they're reading paperbacks and I'm the only idiot).

In church man!
You also forgot to add 'in the living room', since for now there's no Sofa in our house. (being re-bought soon).

I can not imagine me reading in the tub! That'd probably ruin my reader!
That, together with the cinema is the same as saying:
Where do you read?:
- Under water / inside the pool
- Under the wheels of a car or trian
- Under my chair
- While reading a newspaper
- while watching TV or playing computer game
- While speaking to a person.
- While on a rodeo
- While climbing trees
- While playing soccer
- At 3000 miles up, while skydiving.
- On the moon.

Yeah, I also read while watching TV -- my Mom does too and it drives my Dad nuts.

Yes, I like to read in restaurants too, mainly fast food joints while waiting to pick up my daughter from some activity.

I read nearly anywhere (e-books or paper books). What seems to stun people is when I'm walking. Despite the jokes I keep getting, I never bumped into anything.

I carry the Kindle with me every where, so I'm prone to read just about anywhere.

Is being prone everywhere dangerous?

Reading prone gives me a neck ache, so I read reclined.
