FYI - I've seen complaints when people use smile.amazon.com links. As a smile user, I like 'em, but I figured I'd warn you before someone grumps at you about it.

A big problem with Audible is that you can't search for titles by price. That makes it very difficult to find free titles. But, there are workarounds. Lifehacker dealt with this issue in Aug 2012 - Score Free Audiobooks from Audible with a Simple Google Search.

I'd like to give special thanks to skinmaan for his threads Audible freebies and Free audiobook short stories. Most of the initial titles were gleaned from those threads.

Titles are unabridged unless otherwise specified.

This list is by no means complete. If anyone finds other titles, just let me know and I'll add them to the list. Additionally, this post has been linked to the OP for easy referencing.

I hadn't checked those other two links in a year or two. To possibly save others some time:

One link is to 26 actually free titles, two of which were new to me, so they've been added recently.

The other link is almost 2000 titles that have free in the title or description, and is probably pretty worthless to us. I went through it all again, and it seems like at least 95% of it isn't free, but just includes that word somewhere. There were a few new-to-me free interviews and such, but nothing more than 45 minutes long.
