Thank you for all you do, as always, davidfor -- the work you do is truly invaluable.

I updated both my H2O and my Glo HD and everything seems to be working fine, also, I can confirm that in my case the sleepcover/light bug has been fixed. I haven't experienced any battery draining.
One thing I'd like to ask -- weren't the beta features (browser excluded) removed from the H2O? I remember reading about it here but I'm not sure if it was device-specific or not, and I seem to have all of the games available.

I believe these are the details from the first post that he was referring to:

Apart from the firmware version number, there are no changes that affect calibre. I have committed the change to bump the supported version. This should be included in the next calibre release. Until then, it is safe to use the "Attempt to support newer firmware versions" option in the KoboTouch and KoboTouchExtended drivers.

i disagree unless a moderator isn't a human being like the rest of us, and the only sad reflection in my opinion is some people feeling the need to get involved in something that as absolutely nothing to do with them.

Save it. As a moderator, Blossom could have edited out the quote from other posts as well. She didn't.

So, you admit that you haven't been following what was said and then you immediately step in and make a comment about something that hasn't been done.

Have you never edited or deleted a post which you have made? Most of us have... for a variety of reasons.

Had you been following what was said, you would have realized that Blossom has had an awful lot to deal with in life beyond this this forum lately. A bit of sympathy and understanding might be a more appropriate response.

Q, my comments were of a general nature and carefully not directed toward any particular person...just a general comment given many years of involvement with online bulletin boards.

For my Glo at least, this firmware version seems to have fixed the long-standing problem where the first page of the book shown after waking the device from sleep would be displayed with very light text, which would then darken to normal after the page was turned.

Also new is that it is now refreshing properly after using the dictionary, highlighting text, etc. (Edit: By properly I mean it is doing a full refresh. Before it did a parial refresh where the popups had been, which left the screen looking blotchy because the text under the popups was darker than the rest.)
