calibre-server issue

Hi Guys,

I recently had a HDD crash and had to resurrect my system from the grave. I've just got around to putting Calibre back on, the problem is something seems to have happened since my last update.

I had a script set up to run a few libraries I (and my family) can access online, I used the following command for each:
Code:
calibre-server --with-library="/home/mex/Calibre Library/unsorted" --username=<name> --password=<pass> --port=1600 --daemonize
However, it's throwing a load of errors.

I've Googled for help but all I can find are old instructions for the way I was already doing it.

The thing is, I've got to go away for a week or two (and I'd like access to my libraries while away) and don't have the time to research further at the moment, so does anybody have a quick fix?

I'm on a Ubuntu 64bit Linux box with the latest version of Calibre.

Thanks for the great help, this is why the Calibre community is so great, its willingness to help.

Mex5150,

If you are ever again rude to someone who is trying to help you (or to anyone else for that matter), you will be instantly and permanently banned from MobileRead. You asked a question, and gbm very kindly and helpfully gave you a link to a document which provided the answer to your question. gbm is one of our most helpful members. You, in the four years that you have been a MobileRead member, have helped precisely nobody.

There will be no further warnings. Put as much as a fingernail across the line in the future, and you're banned.

Thread closed.
