The sixth novel in Max Gladstone's Craft series, Ruin of Angels, is currently only £1.66 for pre-order at Amazon UK at the moment!

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MUSGCUG/

I loved Three Parts Dead, etc., and I'm really looking forward to this one. I pre-ordered back in February, but Amazon's pre-order price guarantee means that my order is now going to cost me just £1.66 when the book is released in September!

Wow. I just noticed that the previous five books are all at £1.66 at the moment at Amazon UK.

Series Link

I highly recommend this fantasy series.

[edit - following Dr. Drib's comment]
And there's an omnibus of the first five for £7.07

The first five novels, by the way, are available for $11.99, cheaper than if buying each one for $2.99.

Here's the U.S.A. link:

IIRC, those five novels are included in the Hugo Voter Packet. If you buy a supporting membership ($40/€35) you will have access to them as well as many of the other works nominated for this year's Hugo Awards (more details about what is include at this link: http://file770.com/?p=35109). And you would be granted voting rights for awards, also.

But you need to hurry up because the voting period closes tomorrow (July the 15th) and the packet won't be available afterwards.

Yeah, it's up for "best series" hugo at the minute.
Tor generally drop the price of anything nominated.

The Hugo Voter Packet also includes a Steam token for access to 2 games based on the Craft Sequence as well. Haven't played them yet, but I've heard good things and the author was involved.

The packet was astonishingly good this year. The Finalists and their publishers were very generous...lots of full works instead of excerpts and many in multi-format (epub, mobi, pdf).

Yeah, still not convinced this Best Series category is a good idea, no chance of catching up and reading the entrants if you haven't read them so it's just going to go with most famous (Not necessarily a terrible idea) or, more likely, it's going to be the equivalent of the Oscars lifetime achievement (let's give them something before they die) award.

I hear you. Although I am glad they gave it a try this year, and I hope it continues for at least a few just to see how it goes.

As part of a 1-day special (July 16th) of discount Random House titles from both Kobo and Amazon (presumably elsewhere as well), several sfnal works are available for $1.99-$3.99 in Canada & the US.

This includes George R. R. Martin's A Game of Thrones (the iBooks Enhanced Edition which is supposed to have maps, notes, and other bonuses is also $1.99 (regularly something like $12 CAD or so), if you've been curious about exactly what these things contain), Andy Weir's The Martian, and additional fantasy novels by newer authors Katherine Arden (likened to Naomi Novik's Uprooted) and Brunonia Barry (likened to Deborah Harkness' A Discovery of Witches).

Linkage for the sale @ Kobo CA (also works for the US, which doesn't seem to have a special promo banner up, once you swap the country code) and Amazon main

Also, @ $2.99, it looks like Tor has put a bunch of their recent Hugo & Nebula nominee authors on sale across the usual retailers, with this year's finalist titles from Cixin Liu, Ada Palmer, Charlie Jane Anders, Fran Wilde (who was in Best Novelette and has a 1st-in-series novel here), etc. Linkage for the lot at Kobo CA. There are a few other titles which are presumably the sporadically rotated Macmillan monthly specials, as well as some short stories and serials you'll have to weed out.

Orbit is celebrating 10 years in the US with a number of books on sale for $2.99
While this is a US (and Canada) sale, some of these also seem to be discounted in other countries.

X-link to the DRM-free thread for new Humble and StoryBundle:

Humble RPG Book Bundle Doctor Who is presented by Cubicle 7, who did a pretty nice job on their license for Charles Stross' Laundry Files. In addition to the campaign stuff, there are also sourcebooks for each of the Doctors detailing their worlds and canon adventures, which non-gaming fans may also be interested in using as a reference, too.

The SF & F Binge Reader Bundle is curated by former Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction editor Kristine Kathryn Rusch. It's mainly newer and indie-ish stuff, but there's backlist from Rusch herself in the form of her Diving Universe series originally out from Pyr. If you're interested, there's a generous selection of works, with most of the titles being at least the first 3 novels in their series, plus assorted anthologies.

A couple of years ago, I posted about Dying for a Living by Kory Shrum, a free indie contemporary fantasy that I enjoyed reading.

A bundle of the first three titles (Dying for a Living, Dying by the Hour, and Dying for Her) is free right now.

B&N
Kobo
Amazon

The author has since added three more books to the series.

"Blood of Elves" is the first *novel* in the Witcher series. "The Last Wish" and "Sword of Destiny" are short story collections set chronologically before "Blood of Elves".
