Sorry for the dumb question, I will be moving for the next 2 months in the US and would like to purchase it... where may I get one? I could not find it anywhere...

I am already a DPT-S1 owner enthusiast and expect to receive the ReMarkable (hopefully) in the next coming months, but still, this new Sony ereader is appealing!

Does the red light disappear on the stylus when it is charged? I just opened the package and have been charging the stylus with an iPad charger for about an hour. Did they ship it with so little charge on the stylus?

Yes, it does, the red light goes off, and it can take a while. I charged my spare stylus last week.

Thanks, it took about 2 hours to charge. The one stark change I see between using the digital paper and an iPad is that you need a decent light if you want to read comfortably. It's been so long that I have been using an iPad with a backlight or a Kindle with a front/side light that I forgot how ordinary e-ink works!

Yes, it can require a light but I find the contrast so much improved over the S1 that I've stopped using my little clip on light during the day. My apartment faces north so I always get nice even light. I never turn on a light switch during the day, except my music stand light.

I've actually managed to do that on the Onyx Boox Max Carta, it required a fair amount of experimentation to get it right, but once it is there you have the ultimate outdoors setup. Here is hoping for the best.
