I did find something I have wanted - the Season 2 DVD box of The Man from UNCLE.

I kept looking at the different electronics deals, and hoping that a robo-vac would go on sale for a good price, but I came out of the day with only two purchases:

$25 gift card - $5 promotional credit coming
Gift card used to pay for 84 count K-Cups with Alexa (got a $14 discount) - $10 promotional credit coming

Hopefully the promotional credits will indeed arrive. If nothing else, I'll be well-supplied with coffee for a few months

I ended up with some good but boring deals on toilet paper, underwear, and leggings, plus the $25 gift card; these got me $15 in promo credits. Not at all the kinds of things I had been hoping to score, but some real steals.

Phone/tablet internal storage is kinda like closet space for me. Whatever is available gets filled up. I can make do with 8gig (tablet), I just need to be more ruthless in pruning unused apps. On 16 gig phone, I can leave apps installed that I might get around to using again someday. Fortunately, my current devices can take an SD card for music and audio books. I'd call the SD card my virtual attic, not as convenient as internal storage, and some items can't be moved there, but I'd miss the space if it wasn't there.

Could they make it any more cumbersome? Page after page with no filtering, e.g. I wanted to check the 80+ page Toys and Games for Bicycle poker cards. No specific price until you drill in, then backing out doesn't always return you to where you were. So we'll continue getting at Sam's club...

Do extended warranties make sense on inexpensive devices? I say no. Better to put that money in the piggy bank towards eventual replacement. Am I uncommonly lucky? I can't remember any electronic device I've owned breaking in less than 2 or 3 years.

I'm also trying to get away from spending on cases and screen protectors. Screen protectors were easy to give up. But can I go case-less too? I'm trying to convince myself that it's ok, at least on something that's only used at home.
