Has the Audible kids' books sale been mentioned? It runs through August 27, seems to be open to nonmembers, and includes about a thousand books for $3.95 or less.

The section for older kids (about half the selections) includes many classics (Mary Poppins, Pollyanna, Five Little Peppers, Edith Nesbit books, fairy tale collections, etc.). What I consider the best find is the Naxos audiobook of The Once and Future King--some 33 hours including all five books, for $3.95.

Finally! An audiobook sold by Downpour that I actually want to buy and is priced low enough for me to pull the trigger.

"Download of the Week." Washington's (as in "George's") Immortals. $3.95

Very good ratings on the ebook and audiobook.

I got the information from an email from them, but I didn't see a way to open up a webpage for it. Guess you might have to do a search for it.

Tubemonkey may have it posted, but you'd have to go through a hierarchy of a dozen links to get to it. I bear no responsibility for a repeat post of a tubemonkey post.

I guess this is an unannounced sale, but I'm not positive. Audible's recent weekly Dr Katz episodes are showing as normally $4 each, but all six are free at the moment.

When are they going to have a sale for us old f*rts? No, if there a sale is targeted toward an age group, it's always for the kids, for the kids, for the kids . . . .

Well, I'm sick of it! I think that there ought to be a class action lawsuit for age discrimination!
