It was so worth it though. I'm loving bundles

The progress indicator also shows structural marks within content such as chapters, articles, or bookmarks.
For me this would be the best feature of the kindle 2. knowing how far I have until the next chapter.

I agree, though none of the photos in that leaked manual showed anything that I could see which indicated how far until the next chapter. I'd love to see what this looks like.

It seemed he may not realize that rather than doing the math, you can just look at the dots.

I assume you meant the Cybook. If you read 5 books and change between them it is very hard to remember the length of each book if you have bothered to look it up. So I would say that it does not work for me in the same way as it would if the total length was always visible.

Eh, what is the resolution of the dots? If you want to know if you have read 120 or 150 pages of 2000 how do you use the dots for this?

I'm curious, under what sort of circumstances does this occur? Are these reading assignments for work or school? Don't they usually assign by chapters?

It's more an indicator or percentage. Each dot is 2%.

I like the percentage better than the dots, but the dots have never bugged me. I do think it would be nice to have some sort of indicator of chapter locations tho. I would find that much more useful than the percentage number.

With the dots, I have a general idea of how far I am, thought I probably would like a more accurate percentage. I always like to know how many pages I have left in a regular book. Chapter marks would be really cool.

As I wrote above. I for example sometimes want to read 50 or 100 pages in a book each day since I want to finish by a specific date. And as has been discussed in another thread it is a question of creating the perception of progress. And a numerical value is much better for this than a progress bar with very little visible change.

My point was that Amazon has done a very good design in the K2 and all other manufacturer of readers should look at it and imitate it.
