The yeti and I both love meeting dogs like that when we're out walking - especially if theier ownershave no problems witht eh dogs being friendly.

There simply MUST be HUGS!!

Free shipping...

Just went to order something online, doesn't really matter what it was. I've copied a line on the checkout page below:

Add another $55.01 to get free shipping (excluding upcharge for overweight)

The product was only $44.99.

Amazon does that all the time. They are trying to save you money.

The soap in the restrooms at the mall smelled like dill pickles. It's ok for dill pickles to smell like that, but I don't want my hands stinking of it all afternoon.

Well, that's how free shipping works. The order has to be over a certain amount to qualify for free shipping.

So, what a usually do when shopping at Amazon, is put a bunch of stuff on my wish list. Then when I order something, and I get the "get free shipping for only x amount more" I look through my wish list and see if there is anything on there that I can add to the order to get the free shipping.

So .... I would assume that for you, free shipping started at $100 for the entire order. Since what you bought was $44.99, they were telling you that in order to get free shipping, you would have to purchase another $55.01 of goods.

Me, since I shop at Amazon constantly (and I do mean constantly), most of the time free shipping starts for me at orders over $25.00. I can remember when it was $100, then it dropped to $50, and now it's at $25.00. That means, most of the time I get my shipping free. Not all of the time, mind you. Some items do not qualify for free shipping. But ... a LOT of the time.

Dill pickle scented soap? Maybe it's one of those new designer brands created by a person who has no intention of ever using it.

That finally makes sense. *I* thought that they were going to charge me $50.01 for *free shipping*.

If they had quoted "Just buy $50.01 more merchandise and shipping is free", I might have understood it.

Thanks all, for clearing that up. WDE.

Eh .... no problem. When they say "add" ... they just mean add to your shopping cart. I can see where that could be a tad confusing.

Yup. They soak in there a lot when it's hot out, and lately it's been in the low 80s (off an on).

Directly over the kennel, they have a nice big ceiling fan. During the summer, I turn that on for them ... they hop in the tub, jump out and lie under the fan. The repeat this process and keep quite cool.

There will be a special hole in Heck for life insurance claims people and they will have to sit on hold on the phone for hours every day, then be told that the claim can not be discussed with the wife of the beneficiary without him also being on the line.

Furthermore, their toilet will flush down upon the heads of those crybabies who invented HIPPA.
