Raichlen returns! Steve Raichlen, that is.

Actually, the book, 361-page Miami Spice: The New Florida Cuisine, has been around a while, but this is the first time that I've seen a book by Raichlen that isn't a barbeque cookbook.

This is a very highly rated cookbook, which has not been this inexpensive since 2014. It's $2.99 right now, just above 20% of the digital list price.

How high are the ratings? At Amazon 4.6 (91); at GoodReads 4.29 (42). Wow!

The book is Modern Sauces: More than 150 Recipes for Every Cook, Every Day, by Martha Holmberg and Ellen Silverman.

Oh, and it's a good-sized book at 256 pages.

But Flour: A Baker's Collection of Spectacular Recipes, is rated 4.6 stars (302) at Amazon and 4.21 (3,551) at GoodReads!

It's a 322-page book, authored by Joanne Chang.

From reading the book description, the recipes seem to tend to have a Boston "flavor" to them.

Now how much does this book cost at the present time? Only $2.99, a markdown from the digital list price of $21.99!

I've been posting a lot of cookbooks today. But I post whatever I find that seems to be of high quality and is a great bargain. And today that's been overwhelmingly cookbooks.

Burma: Rivers of Flavor, by Naomi Duguid, is rated 4.7 (94) stars at Amazon; 4.17 (368) at GoodReads.

And there's plenty of material here, being nearly 400 page (385) pages long.
