I'm an "Inactive Light" member. I didn't receive it. I must be considered an existing member.

During the most recent Audible sale, I was not considered a member.

Yesterday, I was considered a member. They wanted my money and asked me to renew. I did.

Today, I'm a member again.

I'm getting dizzy. Good thing that I'm sitting down.

I'm thinking that is a good deal....though there is only one thing on my Audible WL right now worth spending a credit on.

I haven't received the offer, but I would be very much inclined to take the deal. My wish list includes several Audible exclusives, and there are new books coming up for some series I've been buying. I should be eligible, not having been a member for several months now.

I tried the link myself. I found the wording of the popup to be ambiguous. Here's what it said:
Welcome Back to Audible!

Our free trial offer is only available to new customers, but we invite you to stay and explore our catalog of best sellers, customer favorites, and exciting new releases.

If you believe you qualify for this offer, please feel free to contact us. We are available 24/7 to assist you.

Well, am I eligible or not? I guess that I'll have to contact them to find out.

I am definitely interested in their offer. The only thing that has kept me from being a full member heretofore is that the price of full membership was a little bit more expensive than I wanted to pay.

I'll pass along what I find out, which information I suppose would be applicable to all other InactiveLighters.

As AnemicOak said above, the offer's limited to new subscribers and people who have been nonmembers for at least 30 days. So you don't qualify.

Even though I didn't get the e-mail invitation, I do qualify, as I dropped my membership about three months ago.

Let me briefly give my reasoning.
1. You said, "Looks like the deal is available to me through this link" I got the same link, too, and it said the same thing.
2. The popup said, "Welcome Back to Audible!" It couldn't be speaking of me as an Inactive Light member, because that's the only membership that I've had for the last several years.
3. They implied that I wasn't a new customer, but they also said, "If you believe you qualify for this offer, please feel free to contact us. We are available 24/7 to assist you." What's the point if I'm not a new customer? I might call them, and make my case.

The least that someone could say is that it is ambiguous. I'll grant that your position has more weight to it. Especially since I didn't receive the email advertisement in my email inbox.

If I am wrong, and they're going to offer trial deals like this to new customers (ones that aren't even Inactive Listeners), I might be better off canceling (if I can) my Inactive Light membership and just wait for deals like this to people who haven't had a paid membership in the last 30 days. Things like $50 off of the annual membership is a pretty good incentive.

Yeah ... and fix the "sorry the deal is over or not for you" defaults to something other than a blank page, error page or rude message. Maybe someday....

So, I tried the link on two accounts. One is a full member, gets the "no trial" message, but then the main page with daily deal, etc. No $99 offer.

Second is not a member, hasn't been for a while (several months). Also get a "no trial" msg, but the home page has the Binge Listening deal offer shown. So, it appears that the link is for a free trial and the home page shows the $99 deal for everyone not currently a member.

In another browser, not logged in, the home page offers a 2 month free trial OR the $99 deal.

Audible must be understaffed. I've been seeing a lot of one-size-fits-all, cut-and-paste, boilerplate messages lately. Maybe some people from New Jersey still haven't made the move to Seattle yet.

A reminder: ChristianAudio's current Twice-Yearly Sale ends this Friday, June 23. The exact time that it ends is 11:59 pm Pacific Time.

The price for these downloads is $7.49 each, which I think is the same price that it has been for at least the past few sales.

There are over 5,000 or over 6,000 downloads on sale, depending upon what part, if either, is correct on the advertisement on the webpage whose URL that I'm to give you. Not all titles at ChristianAudio are on sale, but "almost all digital downloads" are.

No code is needed--just put your items in the cart and they will automatically reflect the sale price.

I really do like ChristianAudio's interface, and just how well the site works. I don't remember if it has been like this like this for a number of years, or if they've worked recently to clean up things. Regardless, I appreciate it, and am far more likely to purchase when they make it so easy.

One feature that I especially like is their audiobook category filter. There are nine different criteria that you can use, which can really speed along your searching (and if you've waited until now to do your searching, you will need all of the help that you can get). Access it by following this path: Browse Audiobooks > Browse All > Sort By.
