I'm looking forward to this problem going away completely (not that I've managed to break one yet). |

As you're in the US you could also look at Pocketbook (http://www.pocketbook-int.com/us).

I looked and couldn't find a way. AFAIK there hasn't been an online seller for Pocketbook's and a few other brands since Dulin's and a couple of others shut down.
The new US distributor for Onyx Boox is now directing people to Ectaco for US purchasers of Onyx readers which may or may not be useful to the OP. http://www.ectaco.com/eBook-PDA-Dictionaries-items/ |

Pocketbook does not ship to the US. (I wrote to them to ask.) If you can get them from Amazon, it's through third-party sellers.
I bought an Inkbook Prime a few days ago, and wrote an initial-thoughts review of it. It's Android-based and has physical buttons; can't speak to Calibre collections support. (I can barely operate Calibre, and my Calibre library is cluttered by multiple versions of the same books, which have slightly different requirements to be submitted to different online distribution sites. I've never taken the time to use it as an organizing tool instead of a converter.) |

Which would be completely useless on a Kobo e-ink device as they don't run Android. They do run a Linux distro and it is easy to enable telnet or add other files to the OS.
