I've has been waiting Jessie Lane's book a long time, and JAK's is a reread, of course I don't know if I told you I got an ARC of the last Nalini Sing's Psy & Changeling. If I told it, sorry for the repetition, but I liked it a lot (although some weak points).

I only have Allegiance of Honor left to go in my complete Psy/Changeling series reread. I really enjoyed rereading in chronological order as it gave a different perspective. I will probably reread the last book this week and then I'll have a bit of break before Silver Silence releases in June.

Yay but jealous, too! (and I don't think you've mentioned it before).

I am counting down the days until I get to read it. I love the glimpses we've had of Silver so far, so have high expectations for this book.

I'm reading Archangel's Consort by Nalini Singh.

It's not a bad series as urban fantasy goes but it's heavy on the sex. I'm starting to skim those.

If my memory serves correctly, I think the first few books are indeed a bit heavier on the sex (probably because Raphael and Elena have just started their relationship), but the later books are much lighter on the sex.

It really varies by book. The Raphael and Elena books tend to be pretty sex-heavy. Other couples don't have as much.

They are like rabbits every other chapter has sex. I thought this was Urban Fantasy. There is no fast forward button on Hoopla. *sigh*

I think that is the problem, Blossom. This is not Urban Fantasy but Romance Paranormal. Yes, the difference can be minimum, but I think these books show it clearly: Great world building, but the main focus is the couple in the book.

Agreed even though it's labeled as urban fantasy it isn't. It's not written in first person and it focuses on the relationship more than plot. I'm on Dimtri's book so relieved to take a break from the rabbits. Illium is my favorite though.

Do I need to read novellas in publication order? Or can I go back later once I get my hands on them?

Definitely more Paranormal Romance IMO than Urban Fantasy. The publisher markets it on their site as "Paranormal Fiction | Paranormal Romance | Fantasy"

Wolf Unleashed by Paige Tyler is on sale for $0.99 from Sourcebooks.

This is book 5 in her SWAT series which is PNR featuring a SWAT team in Dallas made up of werewolves. I like these. Good blend of action and romance. Definitely PNR, not UF. The previous books in the series have been free or on sale at various times.
