Today we were in the mid-70s under hazy skies. There was a breeze, but not the wind that we had yesterday. I had a good walk.

We're due for +90° temps possibly tomorrow, but definitely for Thursday.

We been in lower 90s for the past two days. A/C keeps me cool. It's been a sandwich and salad week so far.

It's now 26C and temperatures are set to rise another couple degrees. It's sunny and there is a (warm) breeze and it a teeny tiny bit less muggy than yesterday. Tomorrow temperatures are back to 16C and it'll be drizzly. Sunday will be the next nice day; dry sunny and a nice 18C

Weather Underground has a reporting station that's about a five minute walk from us. The peak temperature it registered was 97°. That's two or three degrees higher than other stations in the area, so it might be exaggerating, but it sure was hot today.

Supposed to be hotter tomorrow, and much more humid.

Yep, It was. The WU weather station near us reported 100° (once again a few degrees higher than other nearby stations -- but they were reporting 96° so it was still pretty hot).

The heat might break this weekend.

Actually ours was off and on. They were all small. You got the big front that started to the east of us.
At 3, we were woken up by one just barely north and east of us. We could see the lightning. At 4, another one popped up in about the same location. At 5, the last one popped up right over us. None of them were more than 10 miles across.
You got the storm system, we got collisions. It was interesting to watch on the radar, clear then boom it's all yellow and red.

Glad you stayed safe, especially since you are close to that teeny tiny river that runs over banks every chance it gets.

We do live on a street that floods though not as bad as it used too since the city took advantage of the 2 year drought (no moisture whatsoever) a few years back and cleaned out all the drainage ditches.
That drought was so bad, lakes dried up and one city was found under a lake.

We've got a frost advisory for overnight and yet the day before yesterday, it was in the 90s.

'Taint fair! There are temperatures in between. The trick, apparently, is getting the mercury to linger in its headlong plunge from too hot to too cold.
