I always use my Surface Pro 2 in the kitchen... I just make sure I put it somewhere where I'm not working with liquids!

That's weird. Can you run calibre in debug mode and connect the device? Then close calibre and send me the log. Either PM it to me, or start another thread as this is not really the right place for the discussion.

It's got to be my computer. I have been unable to update Calibre since 2.73 (Win 7 64 bit). I tried the card in my Aura HD, then a different card, same result.

I sent a PM but I don't see how to attach a file to a PM.

No, there isn't a way to attach a file. Either upload it somewhere and put a link, or just paste the text in the PM.

Do you get any kind of error message while installing the update? Have you tried uninstalling Calibre and then installing the new version? This should not affect any of your settings/libraries.

I finally got it updated. I moved the zip file out of the download folder, and then it worked!

First reviews of the H202 are starting to turn up... Here's hoping reports of the week-long battery life are a simple misunderstanding based on Kobo's new Kindle-like advertising ("weeks" of battery life) and do not reflect reality.

Does the new H202 suffer from he same problem as all other Kobo readers where highlighting text is slow and unresponsive compared to Kindle? This is the main reason why I returned three previous Kobo readers and went back to Kindle. Like everything about Kobo but if I can't highlight notes, I don't need it.
