Thanks for your concern, Zelda. But it´s not too bad.

This guy here still claims to be innocent. He says he´s been robbed by three penguins who took the megaphone and escaped on an ice floe.

In a similar vane, while trying to access the help line of my PHONE COMPANY, over the phone, because my internet connection is not working.

I had the whole Q and A typed out here but thought wtf, everyone knows the process, no need to remind anyone of the details, we all have them memorized. Rant should be directed at the Phone Company.

Just one inclusion. When I finally do get through to technical support and supply them with my 13 digit phone number which I have already entered via a previous request (do they not have call display and computers to remember this, they are, after all, a phone company), the first suggested irrelevant solution out of their sweet mouth is:

Q: How long is the cord from the computer/modem to the jack in the wall.

A: THE SAME FARKING LENGTH IT WAS THE LAST 10 TIMES I CALLED!

End of rant. WDE.

Note: The other member of this household who uses the PC won't put up with this kind of "customer service". They just keep punching at the zero on the phone until they get a human voice, and when they do, they demand the problem be immediately escalated. This oftimes works. I'm just too polite I guess.

ravenne, hitting "0" (zero) when the voice recognition system comes on will usually get you to a human operator. I hope that works for you.
