UI Bug in Comic Input plugin: "Number of colors" option misbehavior

The" Number of Colors" option of the Comic Input plugin does not behave as the tooltip describes:

Reduce the number of colors used in the image. This works only if you choose the PNG output format. It is useful to reduce file sizes. Set to zero to turn off. Maximum value is 256. It is off by default.

Here is how the field actually behaves:

1. The default value is 256, not 0 (so the option is also not off by default).
2. The max value is 32,000,000, not 256.
3. The minimum value isn't 0. The spinner controls actually stop at 8.
4. Setting the value directly to 0 or to any number lower than 8 (with the keyboard) just goes back to the prior value as soon as the field loses focus.
5. As a result, there seems to be no way to disable this option.

I suggest that this part of the interface be made consistent with the rest of this plugin's UI by adding a checkbox at the start of the line to enable/disable the option, and editing the description so it matches the actual behavior.
