Calibre starting but not appearing

Can't find another thread with this problem yet.

I recently had to change HDs. I reinstalled Calibre and starting yesterday I've had problems when I start up Calibre. The program starts but gives me a blank screen. When I pass the mouse over different parts of the screen some then appear, but disappear as soon as I move on. Yesterday I restarted a number of times and it finally worked normally. Today I've only restarted three times and so far I have the same problem.

Any ideas?

This sounds like a Video driver issue.

Ugh, reinstalling drivers is what led me to the BSOD. It us the only program giving me this problem. Maybe I'll try to reinstall...

do you have any other program built using the QT (Not the Apple QT) libraries?

hey, thanks, no i don't.

Yesterday I got it to work starting it in Administrator mode.

Check you permissions for calibre, make sure you did not install it in Administrator mode and not give yourself permission to use calibre.
