I'd like to win a Kindle. I live in Alaska, and have heard that the networking function won't work here, but want to try out the tech anyway.

I'm NOT entering because I have 2 Kindles on the way and don't want to take a chance away from someone else. I just wanted to post a reply to wswears.

There is now some Whispernet coverage in Alaska (Juno, Anchorage and Fairbanks for sure). Check out the coverage map supplied by Amazon to get more detailed info.

I think it's a great idea for this site to give a free Kindle 2 to some lucky reader. I hope I win! Gee, I don't even have an ebook yet but I've been obsessed about purchasing one for about a month. Still haven't decided. Well, I'm going to go enter. Maybe that will remove the necessity of making a decision! Ha! Dream on. :-)
