 As I understand it people are still researching to determine what is effective against the 5.8.8 firmware to block an update without the user's permission. Until this is determined I would not consider allowing Amazon to update my firmware. Assuming an effective update blocking method is determined you could then decide if the update offers any reason for you to update to it. I jumped off the update train long ago, as the firmware I am running is sufficient for my needs and my enhancements work with it. So give thought to the path you wish to take. Dave  |
