I've just cut out some mostera leaves from paper for my sister, she wants to frame them and use them as decoration. I also saw that I had a cut file for lilly flower ball, which I also cut out and put together.
Now it's time to have brunch and finish my book. |

May Heaven have mercy on my soul. I just realized that I'm enjoying reading on my phone as much as I am on my Kindle.

I read on my Fire Phone or Kobo. I don't enjoy reading on my Kindles. They just collect dust.

Whilst going through my cut files for my Silhouette. When you get the machine you get a bunch of designs for free, plus a gift card to spend on shapes in the store and I bought myself a giftcard. So I went a bit wild and now I can't remember what I've got.
I came across this file. Now I'm thinking of cutting it from some vinyl and applying it to the back of my Kindle Voyage. |

Looking at Powercubes. When going on vacation I always have at least one extension cord with me. I have one where I changed the standard Schuko plug for a UK plug for when I go to the UK (so I don't need any converter plugs) and several regular ones of various lengths and various numbers of outlets.
I like the look of the Powercube because it's smaller than a regular extension cord. They have the one with the two USB ports in 1.5 and 3 metres. I think I'll go with the latter one and get the shorter one later. When renting a bungalow (like in May) and when I'm house sitting I usually have two extension cords with me; one for in the bedroom (because the outlets are always far away from the bed) and one for in the livingroom for my notebook. |

Resetting my mother's Kindle. For the last couple of weeks it occasionally hung, getting the tree image. You had to press the power button for a long while to get it to start again. It usually happened after she charged it, but not always. Yesterday it hung spontaneously and it took a while to reboot; the status bar would fill partially, then start again. The reset went off without a hitch, now it's time to put her unread books back on (I always download the books she buys from Amazon in Calibre portable).

Apparently there was something wrong with the books she was reading. I didn't check before I reset the Kindle, but I waited until all books were indexed before returning it. And the book my mother was reading didn't want to index. Deleted it from the Kindle and converted it in Calibre before putting it back on the Kindle and it was indexed quickly. When I was at it I also updated the firmware, so she's all set for a while.
Tonight the big question is what to watch for film night. I don't know whether I'm in the mood for Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (I'm on a bit of an Alan Rickman binge atm) or Jane Eyre from 2011. Maybe both. |

Sweetpea is sooo sick!
I don't know what to do. She hasn't kept anything down for four days and now she's stopped drinking. I can tell she is a having trouble chewing I think she is dehydrated. She feels like she lost some weight. She is just laying around. Oh I just can't go through this again and she is not a fighter like Maisy was. I got to find help for her.Sent from my XT1528 |

Several people I talk to says it acute kidney failure. I don't have a syringe. My sister is not wanting to help and of course blaming me that's it's somehow my fault. I don't have the money to put her down. Poor thing....I don't know what to do to help her.
![]() When she chews anything soft, hard it sounds like she is eating rocks. This is what cued us off on the kidneys it also means she is dehydrated. Sent from my XT1528 |
