Thanks a lot Meeera! I also have KfM 1.12.4, was thinking of updating to 1.17, but that can wait.
In case my ADE 2.0 doesn't work with Sierra, I could install 1.7.2 later, right?

I recall hearing that ADE 1.7 no longer works with the Google Play book store or with Overdrive library books. Don't know from personal experience -- I use ADE 2.0.1 (on Windows). Maybe someone else can confirm one way or the other.

I've heard the same, so it's probably worth keeping 2 for that, I just haven't got around to it yet. However my point was more that if the older one still opens and chugs along, there are unlikely to be surprise incompatibilities with the newer versions.

But, you need ADE 2.0.1 because ADE 1.7.2 no longer works everywhere such as Google and Overdrive.

It also has to be the latest 2.0.1. I had to update from 2.0.1.?? to 2.0.1.78765. I forget exactly what the original was.

I wonder how long 2.01 will still be supported.

Fortunately, I basically got every book I ever wanted (published before 2014) that I could ever think of; the only books I might still want are new releases. Even if don't get any of those, ever, I'll never outread my ebook library, so I'll be good.
