Looks like the Harlequin site still shows the MIRA books that released today as not available until April 1st. I got my hopes up since they had the Carina books on their actual release day last month. Oh well.

The Invertary Books, a box set of 4 full length contemporary romances set in Scotland by Janet Elizabeth Henderson, is on sale for $0.99. I've read the second and third books in this series and enjoyed them. They are lighthearted and funny. I would definitely recommend them, especially at this price.

Spoiler:
Four full-length, standalone, contemporary romance novels set in the same quirky Highland town.

Book 1 - Lingerie Wars
An ex-SAS solder. An ex-lingerie model. Two competing underwear shops in one small highland town. As Lake Benson and Kirsty Campbell fight their burning attraction for each other to become the last shop standing, they learn that there's something more important than coming out on top.

Book 2 - Goody Two Shoes
An arranged marriage Hollywood style. American singer, Josh McInnes, is fed up with vapid starlets and wants to settle down. If you had to bring one book to read on a long flight with you what would it be? I'm traveling back to the US through Dubai this weekend and unfortunately can't bring my Kindle on board (I can read on my phone but I may need it to occupy my preschooler). I didn't bring any DTB with me so I plan on buying something to read there. I read all of Julie James's FBI/US Attorney series over this vacation and would like something in the same vein.

Do you have time to buy a cheap no-contract phone (NCP) and set it up to use as a second e-reader on the flight? You can usually do this over Wi-Fi without activating the phone, if you are willing to put up with the occasional dismissable reminder to activate it.

tubemonkey has an excellent thread on this - start with this post for info on various models, and at the bottom of the post there is a link to info about using the NCP as an audio player, but since most of them run standard Android, you can also get your preferred ereader (Kindle, Kobo, Aldiko, MoonReader, whatever) on there and use as a small-ish ereader.

I read almost exclusively on my real phone, so I carry a backup NCP phone whenever I am traveling or am going to be out and about for a long time, and am worried about battery life on my real phone, which also has to act as a phone

Oh goodness. Anything Tiffany Snow. Not sure if they are mass market though. You need a big book like Harry Potter. Let me ask the ladies at OSRBC for you.

I asked there and will post any good recommendations here for you.

First one is Catherine Coulter FBI but I find they are more mystery focus than romance.

Julie Garwood has a FBI series. It starts with Heartbreaker. I have this in paperback.

Fox & O' Hare series by Janet Evanovich

Lexington Carmichael series by Julie Moffet. (Not sure if this one is mass market)
