This is the best quote from Hanselman's article:

Quote:
The best example of the Kindle being awesome is being at an airport bookstore, browsing the books, reading the backs, then buying the book for 50% off and having it appear on the Kindle in literally seconds, then walking on a plane. It's positively evil.
I mean wow, this is TOTALLY why I want the kindle. I travel a LOT, and there's frequently nothing do do at the airport besides wander through the bookstore. And then I see something great, but don't buy it because I don't want to add more mass to my bag. WOW, this is just the greatest concept ever.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic. To me, this is one of the great things about the Kindle. I haven't been to an airport since getting it, but I can totally see myself doing this exact same thing.

It's going to be interesting to see where the market settles on K1 price. Looking at the used ones on Amazon, I see that there are 50 ranging from $240 to $1100
I think he hasn't updated his info yet..........unless he had more than one?

I'm not being sarcastic at all. I am totally serious.

(I'd put in a big grin or something here, but that WOULD be sarcastic, and it would totally confuse the point further. Oh, what the heck. There. That's just cuz the kindle is cool.)
