Hello Booxtor,

The ability to change the font in Neoreader, even for EPUB file. The best result for EPUB is gived by the Onyx's PDF reader on my M92. It will be useful to change the font, even the font to use is specified in the css file, like with Calibre.
A plus, the modification of the margins.

In technical domain it will be super !

Well the current Max, when the Max 2, comes out will have already been updated to a Carta screen so your comment is wrong.

Yeah I know. Same as new generation of 13.3" ereaders from Sony, Dasung, Netronix will laugh at Max1. I can't wait.

I would love a New MAX2..

Higher res screen.
Definitely, touch screen pinch and zoom, and it would enable you to use other Andriod apps properly.
Latest version of Andriod so we have the ability to use upto date Android apps.
Faster processor and memory.
Software side:- Which should be able to be done with the current Max.
Tabbed pdf/ pages side by side.. So you can take notes on one side and read on the other.
Different Fonts.
That's it about it ;-)
Oh and of course still need the stylus for note taking.

Here the export is readable, but it is much too fat. I can't send this - it looks bad.

The result of export should basically look like what you see on screen. Same line width.

It's a common problem for Neo 2.

An alternative solution: Import with GoodNotes, then export to a new PDF.

It was a bit like bragging, I suppose, but not in a particularly mean way. I haven't noticed him being aggressive about competition bashing before. The goodereader vs onyx thread was the closest that I've seen. I remember being a bit surprised when that came out.

Not listing the Max when he's referring to the competition is natural as the Max is Boox, and Boox isn't a competitor of Boox. I probably shouldn't say it, but, well, he's also not going to praise the competition.

It being Max 2 means it will naturally be better than Max 1 (we would hope), so in a sense he inferred Max 1 would be somewhat dreary as well.

@Booxtor as everyone on this forum has the right to his own opinion which he kindly shared with us. I don't see anything wrong with it. As someone mentioned it follows naturally that Max 1 will be worse than Max 2, at least on paper.

He criticized other e-readers, so what? We do it on every day basis here. I think it is important to distinguish personal/business comments and I think that comment was Booxtor's personal opinion and not his ereader shop opinion.

Following your logic: a person being an employee of a company A cannot say anything about their competitor, company B. This is violation of the freedom of speech IMHO...

That was exactly my take on the matter. Not sure how one could infer otherwise.

Although continued updates will help to make the reading experience on the the current Max even better than it already is, updates to software can only achieve so much.

I had contemplated holding off on purchasing the Max having heard that the Max Carta would soon be coming out and that the Max 2 would be following later this year. However, as these kind of plans often get delayed, I decided to bite the bullet.

Personally, I won't be disappointed if the Max 2 blows the current Max out of the water. It will just make it all that much easier to justify the purchase, knowing that my wife would be more than happy to acquire my current Max.

Of course, if Sony or Netronix also come out with new models that leave their current devices well and truly behind, that is something I will have to keep an eye on.

So the annotation format that Neo 2 uses (which I think is even incompatible with Neo 1) is compatible with GoodNotes?
You mean GoodNotes for iOS? I don't have an iPad/iPhone. Or do you mean the OSX app?

Are there any other apps that are compatible with the annotation format?
