We had our winds earlier this evening, after the last of the snow flurries. Gusts were in the tree-bending range. It seems to be tapering off, now.

High of 39° here in Richmond, VA today. Spring returns Sunday when the temps should be in the low 70s. Then it's back down and back up.

The snow at the top of the driveway where the town plows did their worst is waist-deep and packed solid. I don't mind shoveling snow, I even like it, but I'm going to be chipping away at that mass for days. However, keeping my sense of proportion, nothing fell on the house and the power didn't go out and this will be resolved without harm, so I'm only complaining a little.

How soon are you schedule to reach warmer temperatures? We have some in a few days. That won't completely fix with a waist high pile of snow, but it might soften it a bit.

However sunny it is the landlord thought today was perfect to bring a jackhammer and bust up the parking lot for four hours.

My body still feels the vibrations even after they quit. No notice they would be doing this. It was loud! Now I feel on edge like I want to break and smash things. Instead I'm eating chocolate.

More autumn than spring. Grey, drizzle and rain. Not cold at 11C, but not warm either. The next couple of days will be better, temperatures will rise a bit every day, it's going to be sunny and dry.

Temps here were in the low 50s (F) and there's plenty of snow still on the ground, but spring is on the way. There are plenty of birds in the trees, and our red tailed hawks have returned.

Started out at 41F and is supposed to reach 81F. Late thunderstorms rolling in this evening as a result of the turbulence.

The NC weather roller coaster is full tilt this week: 80 F to lows of 32 back to highs in the 70's F by Saturday ..... rinse & repeat

We reached 60º today, with gentle breezes and no clouds. I was comfortable in the sun without a jacket.

Tomorrow's high is predicted to be 33º -- and sunny, but that's still pretty chilly.
