I find that hardbacks are the best monitor stands, helping me maintain proper posture and looking like I am literary all at the same time.

You need too many E-readers to accomplish the same purpose and it is both cost prohibitive and less structurally stable. Besides, no one think you read high-brow works of art with the e-readers since the screens are covered with the monitor stand and you can't see what books they are.

Therefore print books are the best (monitor stands.)

I did once use an AOL CD to keep the kitchen table from wobbling. It was the perfect size. A book would have been too wide.

You're referring to the cover only on a hardcover. I was assuming a wholistic approach. An ereader will still make a better knife than a paperback (trade or mass-market).

Visiting other people's homes I do enjoy looking through their book collection and picking up something to leaf through. Can't do that with an e-reader. Too intrusive.

Maybe we should send feedback to Amazon suggesting that one side of the Kindle have a razor sharp edge. Multi-use devices might sell better.

A Stephen King edition Kindle. . . use at your own risk.

A Romance Edition Kindle would have a built in candle holder to help set the mood and also function as a front light device.
