Does it exist a changelog for every firmware update? Where can I read it?

Thanks.

For me, it happened every time and was not intermittent - putting it to sleep and waking it up multiple times never solved the issue.

It doesn't happen every time the reader is put to sleep. Putting the reader to sleep and waking up a couple of times seems to usually get it working again.

The symptoms make me suspect that the touch screen isn't waking up properly when the device is woken from sleep, as the device is otherwise responsive to the sleep button.

It is annoying, but it is intermittent enough for me at the moment to live with it for now.

Having the same problem on my A1.

Was having an issue on my H20 that it would not wake from being put to sleep so I rolled back the firmware on that device. Didn't have time to play with the H20 so not sure if it had this same issue.

When attempting to bring the brightness down to 0%, the reader will instead stop at 1% brightness. Five seconds later, the screen will go completely dark.

I often use 1% backlight when reading in total darkness, so now what happens is that I think I've set it to 1%, then five seconds later my screen goes dark and I have to turn a light on to navigate! It's incredibly annoying.

Anyone else observed this? It happens both in the brightness menu, and when adjusting via gesture shortcut.

I'm having the same issue.

As if it wasn't torture enough sometimes to highlight text, it's been nearly impossible for me on the A1 vs the H20 but I did roll back the H20 to 3.19.5761.

I'm also having an issue on the A1 with with screen accuracy in this manner. Where I told the screen is not where it's registered on the device, it senses my finger about a 1/4 inch to the left of where I touch the screen.

There does not appear a way to recalibrate the screen so this issue is driving me nuts, added to the fact that it only matters when you are trying to highlight text, which is already so frustrating and a colossal waste of time I have even contemplated trying a Kindle... that's how bad it is!

I got the new home screen on my A1 but not until I powered it off/on after the update.

The device came up after the update with the old home screen and through several cycles of sleep, of course, but when I powered it down and back on I had the new home screen.

I have a Kobo Aura One which was just updated to this firmware. Guess what? My homescreen did not change. It's not as simple as the OP said. It's not just high res readers will see a new homescreen (what does that even have to do with resolution anyway?)

I do appreciate the series sort, it works flawlessly.

Holy hell, 8842 absolutely destroyed my KA1 battery life. Hopefully 8871 has a fix.

Is it getting stuck on syncing? That's what happened to my KA1. Since I turned off auto-syncing, it's been fine. Granted I hope this is fixed too. Haven't tried the next update yet though.

I've installed the next update. It still gets stuck on syncing.

As an experiment, turn on WiFi first and then try syncing. Or start a sync, cancel it leaving WiFi connected and then hit sync again.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I've done all that. None of that helps. Many people are reporting this issue.
