The crepe myrtles are all blooming. We have had a bug, snake and bird spike this week. I also detected a sheen of pollen on my car this week.

40 when I got up. 46 now.
The house was 66 in the living room and 64 in the bedroom when I got up.
Yesterday with no heat or ac the house was 75.

32F here. One baseboard on. It snowed this morning but the ground was too warm so it didn't stick.

This is ridiculously crazy! The only good thing is yesterday was the first time since this warm up I didn't have to use nasal sprays to keep an over two week migraine at bay. my head is still gunky though.

The cold front that was predicted to move through was a few hours late, so I got a couple of hours on the back deck with sun, scattered clouds, strong breezes, and temperatures in the 70s.

But the front just reached us. The temperature is dropping fast, we've got loud thunder to the west, and the first rapid-fire lightning strikes have moved in.

Wet, windy, grey and little bit cooler than the last couple of days. It looks like the weather won't change much for the next week or so.

Temps still in the 70's F, but clouds & winds gusting over 30 mph are heralding the approach of the cold front - sposed to drop into the 30's F tonight and stay chilly tomorrow ... but rise back into the 70's F next week ..
