Another cold day, and during the night a thin layer of snow has fallen. Temperatures are supposed to rise to 1C, but due to the wind it'll feel like -10C.

Our high temperature today was just about 30º -- as promised, that was also the low last night. It leveled off a bit in the afternoon, but otherwise it has just been dropping. We got snow, but not quite as much as was predicted. It looks like about six inches, but it's the wet, heavy kind.

And, it has been windy! The wind was just blowing in circles -- every time I tossed a shovelful of snow it blew back at me, no matter which direction. I finally gave up. I'll try shoveling again tomorrow.

It's been bitter cold out the last few mornings, it was down into the low sixties F this morning. Brrrrr.

It's snowing at the moment. However temperatures are set to rise (it's now -1C) and the snow will turn into rain. However for tonight almost 2cm of snow is predicted, and temperatures to drop again, so during the night I expect that tomorrow morning it'll be a frozen, slippery mess outside.

When we went to bed it was about 76 out. As I post this at 930am, it is 54 and windy.

I'm dealing with hairballs already. I started combing Sweetpea nightly to try and stop them. Shedding in February is crazy!

92 in February is really crazy. Cinnamon started shedding and really scratching yesterday.

The forecast for today was light rain and a high temperature of 35°. We got the light rain, but the temperature only reached 32° -- and stayed there. Much of the light rain (and mist) never reached the ground -- it froze on tree limbs, branches, power lines, roofs, and pavement.

The trees are very pretty, but there was never enough light to get any decent photos. It probably won't last until tomorrow. Drive safely.

84 F and sunny, breezy today - in February! Long range forecast continues our 'roller coaster' temp cycle .

Tonight a sudden cloudburst ... took the trash out ... feels like summer ... warm, humid, close ...

Inside house temp is 80 F! I'm NOT turning on the A/C! All fans going now - with windows open.

Subtropical unpleasantness here, though we're supposed to be a Mediterranean climate. Not too hot - 33 C (91.5 F) - but humid and icky.
