The three second rule (or five second rule, if you are an orthodox believer), does not apply in this house.

If you so much as put down any item (food or non-food) in a location where the cats can get to it, they will destroy it.

This applies to clothing, computer gear, food, drinks (in glasses or in cans). In other words anything.

Now, of course, your stomach acid will probably destroy any bacteria contained in the contamination, and cooking takes care of a lot of problems, but .... I just don't recommend eating anything cooked here.

Not if you value your well-being anyway.

I'm definitely in the mood for some bloody and unwarranted violence at the moment.
As a side note, I'm not really into long distance relationships (sniper rifles and that kind of stuff), so please make it up close and personal.

They had the perfect solution where I live.. They just closed the school and sold the building so it could be turned into a house.

Naturally, I live in a tiny village nobody has heard off (a colleague lived one village further and she hadn't even heard of it...) and that has only around 50 houses (including the ex-school).

hm. i will keep this in mind as a possible solution. the school behind my building is huge, they could get a lot of appartments out of it if they wanted to...
