@MacHaggis - my Moko cover arrived this morning also. Like you, I opted to be a little bit more daring with the Starry Night scene.

Please excuse ... taking pictures is much easier for me than writing english ...

Here the bookbook-cover as you can buy it:

The Holding (right word?) for the iPad seems to fit also for the aura1 at first sight.

On the second glance there are two problems.
I presume, that the iPad-mini is a bit thinner and a little bit more straight in its proportions.
Therefor the leather bulges up ugly.

And there is the problem, that you can´t press the on/off-button without opening the press-buttons
and folding up the holding.

So I decided to go another way.
I took the rightside part of a cheap slim-cover by cutting off the left (front) part for getting
just the clip-in-frame.

To have better access to the button on the back-side, I enlarged the hole.

The clip-in-shell is fixed with velcro-Points in the middle and in every corner, with the exeption
of the place, where the on/off-button is.

The complete thing:

And with the Aura1 inside it:

I think it looks as wasn´t else ever and I like it very much. The fine old leather is very fine to touch and feel.
And the reader is very well protected when taking it with me.

And the access to the on/off-button is easily possible, you remember: no velcro-point at there.

Good job Peter - I think it looks good!

Thanks for posting the pictures. I did something similar back in the day with my original Oberon cover for my various Kindles. I just kept using the same cover and got some velcro as the devices got smaller over time.

The European Consumer Center answered back. They need further information and as soon as they get it would act on my behalf. I am a bit torn now. I mean they might not be able to get Noreve to take the case back and repay me my money. So this whole thing would only go on to grate on my nerves for a couple of weeks more.

But then I'd be happy to stick it to them after they send me a very cheeky mail, when I informed them the new case doesn't stay shut either and where the old one at least had the sleep function this one has no function at all. This is the answer I received:

Yasmine, we can not discuss with you every days. We have more than 350 000 customers and a lot of work do to. On our side everything has been done correctly.
So is it worth giving the European Consumer Center a go or not?

This really looks very, very nice! I love the outside of your cover. I could do without a zipper but that's just me. :-)

Poppaea, is that the answer from the customer center? They should be shameful. If talking to European Consumer Center is not going to be too much time consuming, I would go. It's a totally unprofessional answer.

Nah, worse the answer came from the person who claimed to be in management. I would really love to stick it to them after this last afront. And to claim they did everything right!

Yes, I will send the information to the European Consumer Center and let them deal with it.

They are appallingly rude and seemingly incompetent. You definitely have a strong case... (Not sure why it didn't copy your quote (side issue)).

I would go for it - at this stage you have nothing to lose, you are stuck with the case and Noreve are basically telling you to shove off. You have their emails documented - I would say you have a case.

And also, it might shoot Noreve up the backside having the European Consumer Centre getting involved. Good luck Poppaea

I agree, it means you might get something out of it (refund?) and as a bonus it sounds like it will give Noreve a bit of a frankly deserved kicking.

I just got my KA1 and a gorgeous handmade slipcase from Lithuania.

The photos are for an ipad, but the seller custom measures for numerous devices. I have small, arthritic hands, and I prefer to read without a case at all. I don't need a sleep case because the power button is so much more user-friendly than previous Kobo models.

WTF @ that mail (from Noreve, I suppose)...

First you get a cover that doesn't stay shut even though Noreve confirmed it should; the sleep function didn't work correctly (at least not with mine), and now the new cover doesn't even HAVE a sleep function AND doesn't stay shut, AND they basically tell you to go and f*** off?

A sleep cover for an e-reader is NOT rocket science. Even the Chinese sellers get it right now, at a tenth of the price. (OK, the material is not real leather, but the covers technically work.)

I'd definitely send that e-mail to the European Consumer Authority if I were you.

Beautiful case!

I also want a sleeve, but I'm cheap (too cheap to spend over $20; I'd like to keep it close to $10). One problem is that measurements are all over the place as I try to find a sleeve that would work for the One. I want one that's as form-fitting as possible without, of course, being too tight a squeeze. Who else has found something satisfactory and can you point me in the right direction?

A quick Etsy search turned up only one store who makes slipcases for $15 each. You can see the results here if you are interested.

For what it's worth, the cover I posted above fits the KA1 perfectly. And the felt is about .25 inches thick, so I am not concerned about damage.
