Again I was talking about the bundled font files, the ones bundled with the app when you download and install. All files must go to some directory designated by iOS. When the app is run, it can choose to copy some files to some other (user-accessible or not) directory, but it can never remove those original files. This is an iOS restriction, but not a Mac or Windows restriction. Therefore, we say that any bundled font file on iOS cannot be deleted. If the font file is downloaded after installation, then by definition, it is not bundled.
Note that I am talking about what and why something will work or won't work, and not about how you want it to work. |

Sigh. I said "bundled font files", which are clearly distinguished from the iOS built-in font files, which are not bundled. You may call them add-on font files, if you wish. Now re-read post #243 carefully.
Cheers |

MapleRead 1.6.4 is coming soon!
MapleRead 1.6.4 will be available for download soon by the end of this week.
Here's a heads-up. Library Sort menu customization via More - As-is Author Name option for displaying names as “First Last” vs. “Last, First” while maintaining the same “Last, First” sorting order when sorted by Author or Author+Series [1] - Once per Book option for showing each book with multiple authors only once instead of multiple times, each time under one of its authors, when sorted by Author or Author+Series [2] - Prefer Caibre Date option for using Calibre's Date as Date Added for each book where applicable (This option was previously located in System Settings) Made Library Sort by Author (Author+Series) case-insensitive while case-preserving [3] EPUB context menu customization via More - Allowed Set My Dictionary to point to another app on the same device [4] - Added My Command for a user-defined command with customizable name and URL scheme (e.g. Google Maps) [5] EPUB viewers - Enabled displaying an EPUB 3 footnote in a popover view, with the footnote text size proportional to the main text size [6] - Added options to show/hide independently the header, footer and progress bar in Modern Book viewer [7] - Added two new fonts, Futura and (dyslexic-friendly) OpenDyslexic, to Text Font and Heading Font menus [8] ---- All of the features listed above are our attempts to address issues raised by users in this forum and/or by email. Other recent requests will most likely be addressed in some future versions. Thanks. Is ADE page numbering and user installable fonts on the list for the next release?

Thank you for an excellent new update.
As I have mentioned earlier I am particular fond of the context menu customization. I do have a small problem here. I have set Set My Dictionary to: http://www.ordbogen.com/opslag.php?word={word}&dict=enda and I do get a translation in the small window in Maplereader. The problem is that the service is a paid subscription and from time to time I have to login, and this I can't do in the small browser window in Maplereader. I then tried to move the command to Set My Command. And now the translation appears in Safari and that is perfect for me. Consequently I moved the Map command comgooglemaps://?q={word} to Set My Dictionary where it also works very well. I will therefore suggest the following: Make it possible to specify a new title in Set My Dictionary as in Set My Command OR better Make it an option to specify to use Safari in Set My Dictionary. But again thank you for an excellent app. ![]() |

Pop up footnotes, wow! Finally, thank you so very much!
Small question: how can I point Set My Dictionary to open Google translator app? Just an app, not an online service. |
