Windows 10 want to repair Kobo disk

Hi,
When I plug my KA2 to my Windows 10 computer, a little window appears down left of the screen saying something like that "There is a problem with your disk please click here to find errors and repairs it".
Do you have the same message ? My KA2 is in a bad status ? I bought it only few weeks ago.

It sounds like you may have puled the USB cable without properly ejecting. Connect the KA2 tot he computer without Calibre running and when the message comes up, click here to find any tpossible errors.

I get that message every time I connect my One to Windows 7. And yes, I always disconnect the reader via the USB settings first.

I see that message every so often on my Windows 10 machine on USB drives including my Kobo ereaders. I run the scan and it says no errors found which also clears the dirty bit until the next time it isn't cleared during a safe eject. At this point, an annoyance and not much that can be done about it.

I had that error until I ran a chkdsk with the Kobo plugged into a USB 2 port.

Nothing I'd do on USB 3 would fix the error. Now all is well.
