Bookari Premium or Google Play Books, tho I prefer to read on e-ink for the most part.

On Android, either Bookari or PocketBook are first choice (honourable mentions also go to Moon+ and FBReader).

Android apps which don't have a TTS option for all sideloaded books are automatically ruled out of contention for me. If I know I'm only going to be listening to the book, rather than eyeball reading, then I think the @Voice Aloud Reader app is my favourite.

I'd have to be desperate to use Kindle for Android and even more desperate to use the Kobo Android app.

My preferred reading device is a Kindle Voyage. While the Kindle Android app has gotten much better on my Android phone and tablet, less crashes, quicker to open I prefer the very feature rich Moon + on those devices.

I prefer my eink Kobos for novels, but if I have to read a PDF or I don't have my Kobo when I'm in a line (rare) I use Bookari in my Android devices.

Marvin on iOS. I've been using it since the first version. Total granular control over your reading list is a MUST for serious readers. I tried Hyphen and it's a viable alternative to Marvin but as soon as Kris released M3 I went straight back to it.

The rare times I'm forced to read on a tablet (like when proofreading a novel in PDF format), I use Moon+ Reader Pro. I tried just about all of them and I love everything about Moon+ so much that I bought it, it's often at half-price (and there's just a handful of apps I feel are actually worth paying for).

Moon+ Pro Reader on an Inkbook Obsidian -- much better than the Inkbook's stock reading apps.

FB reader. Tried Moon on inkBOOK, found it just as lousy as years ago and promptly deleted it again. Sumatra hasn't put out anything for Android yet. Using Pocketbook on the phone. Not too many permissions - I just left it at storage.

I dislike the graphics, and I dislike the shelves. I haven't liked it since I bought my Acer tablet 5 years ago.

Freda is my current choice as well.

I have both Book Bazaar Reader and Freda installed on my Win10 tablet, which has been my primary reading device for over 2 years now. I've switched allegiance back and forth between the two with Freda the current choice. Both work very well in a touch environment.

I also have calibre install along with the primary copy of my Library. I only have 2-4 books loaded into my reading app's "library" at any one time. I usually have one or two short story collections "in progress", switching between the two story by story with the occasional novel in the mix.

There is a choice. There's always a choice. The choice is to remove the DRM, shift KF8 to ePub, fix the structral errors (usually very easy to do), and you have an ePub you can read with Moon+.

On iOS (iPhone 6s or iPad 4), it's Marvin 2.x. Marvin will never be properly fixed so spending on Marvin 3.x is out. I'm waiting until MapleRead's settings bugs are fixed and then I'll most likely switch.

On eInk i(Kobo Aura H2O) t's mostly RMDSK (ADE) and sometimes Access.

And this is what I do will all my books so I can use Moon+Pro. It is so much easier for my eyes and I can select the font I prefer. I wish that Moon was available for my computer.
