The first Koontz I read was Star Quest (1968) and because of this I have a tendency to think of him as a Science Fiction Author.

A satisfying conclusion to the series, even if it's only at the end that I can spot all the clues I missed along the way to the Prof's weakness!

Next up: Who knows? I'll pick something this evening, since I have to drive home this after work today, rather than taking the train.

I plan on reading more of Koontz's books. I going to work on some stand alones because I have too many incomplete series to try to finish.

Just finished Final Account, an Inspector Banks book by Peter Robinson and it was very good! First one of his I've read and it had numerous plot shifts I never saw coming. Also it takes place in the Yorkshire Dales where I have been numerous times and that made it even more enjoyable.

If anyone knows what the order list of the books are, I appreciate a hint as the friend who recommended it said it was a good idea to read them in order.

Hmmm... never heard of them, but I like a good plot shift and my sister lives in Yorkshire so I've also been there a lot. I'll have to have a look at them. Thanks.

Jubal Sacket (Sacketts #4)
Louis L'amour
3 Stars

Now we start to get a bit of the "western" flavor, instead of "historical", that I associate with L'amour. Wish I could easily space my reading of these out a little more though. One every 2 months is about the limit and I'd really prefer 3 months between.

Finished Dreamwalker by C. S. Friedman. It wasn't as engaging as her other works, but that could be my current state of mind. I will read the sequels.

Now reading The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo by Amy Schumer.
