Question Is there a way to remove adds on MobileRead
I'm a new Mobilereads user, and I am curious if there is a way to remove the ads (e.g., reach a certain post count, become a paid contributor, etc.)?

I tried searching but the top replies where about removing ads from a Kindle.

That said, if I just want to read something quick I don't log on. And I noticed recently that the ads were getting rather intrusive - tacky videos etc.

I don't mind static ads - sometimes they are even useful, but when they animate then it's 'Good Night, Nurse!', I reach for my blocker.

So MR is no longer excluded from my blocker (uBlock)

If you set automatic login you need not worry about this at all.
