Actually, no. I picked it up for the same reason, but there is NOTHING about crocheting in it. It is all knitting. Now, someday I may want to learn to knit, so I'm still glad I have it. But I picked it up thinking it would have some crochet patterns in it. It does not. That title is a searchword vomit, not an actual list of contents.

I just checked it and your right. I am still giving it to my niece. She may find some use for it. She's almost 13 and is pretty good at this stuff. She listens to audiobooks while she crochets so this forum is quite helpful in keeping her well stocked with stuff to listen to.

Just open an Audible UK account with a UK address. It does not matter what the billing address of the credit card is as long as you can make international transactions with the credit card. I have done this for years and have had no issues.

Just don't sign up with the same e-mail you use for Audible US. If you try that and have one US address and one UK address their system can spot it and set a common location for you. Unfortunately this happened to me.

Here's a free comedy program on Audible that, for me, has been a comedy of errors trying to get for a while now. I could get each episode for free, no problem, but they are so short I didn't want to clutter up my account. Then they released it as "seasons," but for some reason access to them was geo-restricted.

Now I can proudly say I am the owner of "Crackanory" seasons 1-3. If you'd like to join me you can get it for free here, but I don't know how long it will last. It is possible they mis-set the geo-restriction so if you're interested don't wait too long.

How? I periodically Google info on how to bypass geo restrictions and my eyes glaze over because I have no idea what they're talking about. I seem to be getting less and less tech savvy all the time.

I was on chat with a CS Rep and a supervisor about My Name is Markham for over an hour (Longer then the short is ) and finally had to resort to the screenshot posted here and the discussion we had about this to get a refund. I have never had this much difficulty with Audible over a mistake of there's. I hope this is a one off incident. However this is the second major scuffle I have had with an Amazon company in three months. I am at my wit's end with them at this point. I do not like having my time wasted like this.

The My Name is Markham short is NOT free on Audible anymore.

Another Daily Deal I've listened to. I've read almost all of Gregg Hurwitz's nonseries titles and they're enjoyable, well-constructed thrill rides. I liked this book and recommend it.
