[iOS] Don't see any columns...nothing works...

I just downloaded CC app for IOS this morning and I must be doing something wrong but I can't get anything to work.

When I connect to content server, I can see my books and I can tap on a book and see the description. That's it. There are no columns at all except "calibre library", "Disconnect" and search. How do I see columns?

When I connect to wireless device, it seems to connect but nothing happens. It just stays on the same "Get Connected" window. On this window I can see some columns...on the left I can see an icon that opens the Groups "drawer?", the grid/list selector, a column selector? that does nothing, "Disconnect" and the Settings icon.

How can I get this to work?

The wireless device is a "push" system. Once you are connected you should go to your calibre library on your "desktop", choose books, then use "Send to device" to send them to CC. You cannot "pull" books to the device from CC. Our FAQ answer CC connects but then sits there doing nothing. What do I do? briefly discusses this situation.

I can't speak for the content server issues as I don't have an iDevice.

Thank you chaley. I hope somebody can help me with the problem I'm having with the content server connection. As it is, the app is not very useful to me.

Try sending a book via the wireless device then connecting to the content server. Also just to be sure: I assume that you are connecting to a calibre content server, not some other OPDS server.

EDIT: I also assume that the content server is V2. There could be problems if you are using an older V1 calibre installation.
