It's for reasons like this that I shoo mine out the kitchen when I'm at a frantic bit of cooking! Plus he has a knack of standing in precisely the wrong place, then moving to stand where I need to be next (we only have a small kitchen!)

I have to admit you are correct, ws. When I feel one 'coming on', I don't wait for someone else to get the big E. for me........I RUN to the cabinet! Luckily, there was more in the hall closet, and my purse, and I think I stashed some in the drawer by our bed.......

My neighbour gave me the "the big E." for a migraine I had the other day (I don't think it's available in Oz, so she might have brought it back from OS). I must say that, while it had a positive effect against my migraine, it was not a drug that agreed with me personally. Some of the stimulant-type drugs, such as the "Day" part of Cold and Flu Night & Day drugs, give me palpitations and the physical sensation of a panic/anxiety attack - feels worse than the migraine .

It has a very high concentration of caffine....thats where the palpitations come from!

I've taken it for so many years, it no longer bothers me. All I know is that its the only thing that will take care of my headaches. Perhaps its totally physiological, but tylenol, advil or nothing else works.
