I did pick up two more abandoned eggs today. As for naming, I finally realized that I just couldn't use one word as a name. I think that was the problem.

Right now, except for a screw up with one dragon, I think I'm going to name my dragons the same way they usually do with Horses, take one part of the sire's name and one part of the dam's.

Naturally, I only had two dragons to work with, and I messed up one of them .... so I just named them both after the sire and dam of one of them. In any event, I ended up with two names I rather like.

Don't worry too much about your meds. Unless you are popping them every day, day in and day out, it's unlikely that you'll have a problem. I find I won't have an attack for ages, and then I'll have four or five in a row ... just happens that way sometimes. I find if I don't stress out over the need to take the damn pill, it makes life a little easier.

Seriously, anything can become addictive ... even aspirin. The key is to take the stuff only when you need it and not when you talk yourself into needing it but don't "really" need it. That probably sounds a little glib, but I don't mean it to be.

I had some dippy doctor tell me that I had a "problem" with Valium when I was taking 12 5mg pills .... a year. Yep ... 12 pills in a year, and he was convinced I was a serious addict. What a dip. He suggested that I should get talk therapy to examine the reason behind my anxiety attacks. Riiiight .... this is the type of twit who suggests that a patient who has 5 or 6 headaches a year should have brain surgery. Let's see .... talk therapy at $300 an hour for several hours each year - with no guarantee of anything actually helping, or $10 worth of Valium. Did I say he was a twit??

It will take a few months because they want to edit it a little, change the cover, do some advance marketing, that kind of thing. I have promoted it pretty much exclusively on blogs, so now they have to get it into the dead-tree literary pipeline.

Thanks -- you're right that stressing about taking the meds just makes things worse, of course. I'm just a bit concerned that my anxiety attacks seem to be increasing in frequency and severity over the past few weeks. But I'm looking into it. And I'm hoping that as I get past the first few classes of this new semester things will calm down for me a bit, as well.

It's silly of me to wish for a bigger house. We have enough room to live. But I wish we didn't have a TV right on the other side of the wall from my bed.

Unfortunately, there really isn't a better place for it. (I'd be happier not to have one at all, but that doesn't seem to be one of the choices either.)

I got wireless headphones for the 'next to bedroom TV'. Works like a charm when I raise the tone of my voice for an order.
