Where can i find the old ticket #2575?
Hi,
in this old thread an old Ticket #2575 is mentioned. Calibre performance over the network - MobileRead Forums https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48647 Can anyone give me a hint, where i can find it? |

If you want to put the db file ina location other than the library folder the way to do it is with an evironment variable, as described here: https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/cus...ment-variables

You cannot use it to copy books, as it will apply both to the target and src library and yes it takes care of the journal file as well

OK.
Currently i am using linux and add a symbolic link from the metadata.db in the calibre libray to my ssd for each library. This works fine, but i am not able to use it for the journal file, because it is recreated for each transaction and the database files are not in a separated directory. Do you or anyone else have spontaneously an idea for a workaround? |

It it possible to set the
PRAGMA schema.journal_mode = from DELETE to TRUNCATE with configuration (without changing the code)? |

No allowing config file to execute arbitrary SQL would be a recipe for data loss.
